Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, is a remarkable Hollywood actress and author who's talents have brought the attention of critics and acclaim. Sagittarius, she was born in North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She is the oldest child from Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper as well as Anne, a psychology student. She's English, Scottish and of mixed descent. Moore has moved frequently with her family because of the duties for her father. This made it difficult to make or maintain new friends. Moore was a student at Frankfurt American High School in Germany when her parents moved to the United States. Then she began to perform in theatre. Following the completion of her B.F.A. from Boston University in 1983, Moore continued to seek further education. In Theater. Moore was a graduate of college at the time of her graduation in New York and started her acting career off Broadway following her move to New York. In 1985, she made her debut on stage as a character in The Edge of Night. She performed the double role of Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in As the World Turns that was her first major role. She was on the show between 1988 and 1990, and received the Daytime Emmy Award. Her film debut came in the year 1990, with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, which she described later as an awful low-budget film. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), each Robert Altman productions, were her first film. It was critically acclaimed, and Moore won multiple nominations. Moore got her first role in the role of a leading lady for the film Safe (1996). Steven Spielberg, who was producer of Jurassic Park: The Lost World in 1997 and one of the highest earning films, chose Moore as the main actress. She was awarded an SAG nomination in 1999 for the part she was in Magnolia which was a highly praised film. In 2002, she starred alongside her co-stars in The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Moore has also appeared in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. Non-Stop was a show that aired in 2014. Moore has been featured in many movies and television shows. Most recently, she starred as the lead in When You Finish Saving The World (2022). In Hollywood, she has also made herself a writer for children. Her debut book Freckleface Strawberry was published in 2007, and was one of the bestsellers on NY Times. The bestseller was later made into a movie, a series, and even into a musical. In 2013, Moore wrote My Mother Is a Stranger. Moore's personal life has been made public as a highly popular author and actress. She separated from John Robin in 1995. They have two children together along with Bart Freundlich whom she later got married in 2003. Moore's entire life revolves around her children, friends, and profession.
